Matariki Heri Kai | The feast OF MATARIKI
This year’s theme speaks to the association between the appearance of Matariki and the bounty of the impending season. The connection between the different stars to our kai (food) across te taio (the environment) encourages us to consider our role in protecting and caring for these ecosystems. With that in mind and as a token of appreciation for the many connections we are fortunate to have, we have donated to Aotearoa’s largest network of tree planting projects this year, our collective impact is below.
