As you are all aware New Zealand has been responding to the global outbreak of Covid-19 (Novel Corona Virus).  With so much information circulating it is important that you have one version of the truth about what is really happening within our country and where you can find credible information.

The Ministry of Health website  is the go to site for all information. It is being updated daily with all relevant information about what the virus is, how it spreads and the precautions we all need to take.

In order to keep both our clients and staff safe in the evolving situation we would like you to please inform us if, you or a person living at the same address:

  • has returned from overseas in the last 14 days
  • is suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19
  • is a close contact of a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19

If any of these apply to you or someone in your household, please call Access Community Health on 0800 284 663 so we can ensure you and our team's health and wellness is prioritised.

If you are required to be in self-isolation for one of the above reasons we will work with you to develop an appropriate care plan. Our team will discuss this with you in detai.

In some cases, our team visiting you may wear protective gear (like a mask or gloves) when they visit you. Please do not be offended.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Access Community Health continue to refer to Ministry of Health guidance in relation to the use of PPE (This does not take away from our normal infection control processes).
