Community Nurse (weekends) - Total Care Health


All Auckland

We are a leading and trusted provider of wound care services to ACC. Position will be covering clients around all of Auckland- we're lookng for a weekend nursing superstar

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with a whole host of skills providing Wound Care management to both simple and complex wounds. IV Medication and Catheter Cares for ACC clients in the community. No day will be the same, visiting clients at their home, workplace or place of study.

Our community nursing services operate seven days a week but we're looking for support to cover weekend work.

If you have previous clinical experience as a community or district nurse, we would love to hear from you. We also deliver education programmes so this could be an exciting step in your career with professional development to support you in your role.

Requirements are:

  • A qualified nurse with a current NZ practising certificate and a right to work in NZ
  • Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent at time management and the ability to work independently
  • Hold a current, clean drivers licence and own a reliable car (company will cover mileage)
  • Computer literate and able to embrace innovation
  • Up for a challenge in a field of nursing that is exciting, varied and evolving.
