Community Registered Nurse - Crest Team



We have a full time role available for a CREST Community Registered Nurse.

  • Autonomous, client focused role
  • Utilise all your health and social skills in support of people living in the community
  • Full time, based in Christchurch

As a CREST Community Nurse working within Access, you will case manage newly discharged clients with a focus on a restorative model of care, to ensure maximum rehabilitation potential. You will be working alongside the CREST Allied Health team and a team of support workers to identify the needs of the client to promote a return to their previous function.

The role comprises of a 1 in 3 weekend on call cover from 0700 - 2100 (Penal rates apply). There is also a weekday on call from 1630-2100 which is rotational.

  • Registered Health Professional with a current practising certificate.
  • Experience in long term conditions or medical nursing highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with a caring nature and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Intermediate level computer and on-line information recording skills.
  • The ability to plan and organise effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding, client focused environment.
  • A current full drivers license is essential.
