Queenstown home help hero needed urgently

Are you our Queenstown home help hero?

We're looking for a special kind of person to be a hero to support our clients in the beautiful town of Queenstown. You'll bring much needed support to a range of clients from the elderly needing a bit of support to stay in their homes to ACC clients requiring help to get back on their feet following an accident.

Duties include personal care to help them stay healthy and clean and assistance to keep their home clean and safe.

You are invited to come along and meet with Regional Manager Carol and Coordination Team Leader Stephanie down at the lake front, Queenstown on Sunday 8 January 2017. They'll be there from 12- 3pm and woud lbe delighted to talk with you. You will have the opportunity to find out more about this work, what it entails and complete an application. We are keen to meet people with a passion for enabling and assisting others to lead a more independent life.

If you are our home help hero you will:

  • Be reliable, responsible, trustworthy and committed to helping others - your workplace will be our clients' homes
  • Be a driver with a reliable vehicle - you'll need to be able to get around Queenstown
  • Enjoy flexibility with hours
  • Be looking for a rewarding job where you make a real difference to the people in your community
  • Become part of a national organisation with 4,500 staff and over 20,000 clients.
  • Want to enjoy free development towards NZQA Level 3 certification.
